Boop Membership
Seeking to join our society of snoots to boop in central Texas? Review the guidelines below for how we approve applications for membership for our organization. Along with that, whether you are seeking to be a member or are a continuing member, review our Rules of Membership as they affect eligibility as well. Remember that our open enrollment for membership runs from October to the end of December every year!
$25 Nonrefundable Annual Membership Fee
Your membership benefits will include a enamel pin and card for the year you are an active member, receipt of minutes from board meetings to review and give feedback on, first notice for volunteering opportunities with us, discounts to certain events such as A Formal [Fetish] Affair, the Austin Rubber Roundup, and other large events we sponsor or host and the establishments of Sir Rat Leather and Gear and the Knead it Now Kitchen (KINK). These membership dues are given as donations to the organization in support of it. The dues will not be refunded in cases of termination of membership or otherwise, and we hope this will encourage involvement from those that choose to become members.
Quarterly Attendance Requirement
Make your intention known, and come out to our events at least 3 times a quarter. If you’d like to be more active, come out to more of our events. Talk to at least one officer as listed on the following link https://www.boopsocietyctx.org/#officers during those outings and let them know you’re wanting to become a member.
Quarterly Volunteering Requirement
As members, we want you to know the work we Members at Large and Board Directors do, and as such, we require aspiring and current members to help out at least 1 time in a quarter. The extra hands make sure there's always someon to rely on to make upcoming events happen. Come early or stay late to an event to help us set up or tear down! And always ask how you can help.
Follow Membership Rules
Please read through the file linked here at Rules of Membership If you want to be a future member or continue your membership, you should follow these rules at all of our events. Any reports or observed behavior that goes against our Rules of Membership does affect your eligibility for current and future membership.
Live in Central Texas
We serve the central Texas area. That means that to have the most effective membership for the year, it is best that our members will be those that can assist us in the counties of Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Coryell, Gillespie, Hays, Lampasas, Lee, Llano, Falls, McLennan, Milam, Travis, and Williamson. There are some extended counties that are geographically close, so if you’re a resident of a location within 50 miles south and west of Austin and 50 miles north and east of Temple, you’re more than likely in the service area.

Are you ready to Apply?
Open enrollment is open from October 1 to December 31 every year. At that point the Application Page will be available for you to submit your application. Always remember to talk to our officers and Members at Large continuously through this application process and as a member, as we look forward to fostering community, leadership, and service.
